The short version: we collect what you give us when you request a demo, we use it to talk to you about Solenia, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it anytime at privacy@solenia.com.
1. Who we are
Solenia, Inc. ("Solenia," "we," "us") operates the website solenia.com (the "Site"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you visit the Site or request a demo. For information processed on behalf of our business customers inside the Solenia platform, the customer is the data controller and our data processing agreement governs.
2. What we collect
- Demo and contact requests: name, work email, company name, support channels, conversation volume range, and any message you write to us.
- Usage data: standard analytics — pages visited, approximate location from IP, browser and device type, and referral source.
- Communications: emails and call notes if you correspond with us.
We do not collect special-category data on the Site, and we ask that you not include any in free-text fields.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your demo request and communicate with you about Solenia.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- To send occasional product updates if you opt in — every message includes an unsubscribe link.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
Our legal bases under GDPR are consent (demo requests, marketing), legitimate interests (site operation, security), and legal obligation where applicable.
4. What we don't do
- We do not sell or rent personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
- We do not use Site visitor information to train AI models.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the Site.
5. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our business (hosting, analytics, email, CRM), each bound by contract to use it solely on our instructions; with professional advisers where necessary; in connection with a corporate transaction; or where required by law. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.
6. Retention
We keep demo-request information while we have an active conversation with you and for up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete or anonymize it. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EEA, UK, and California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents additionally have the right to know, delete, correct, and to non-discrimination for exercising rights. To exercise any of these, email privacy@solenia.com. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission is 100% secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you as required by law.
10. Cookies
The Site uses strictly necessary cookies and privacy-respecting analytics. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
12. Changes
We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be flagged prominently on the Site.
